About Our Hives
Beekeeping has been a family adventure from the very beginning. Our family cares for around 6-10 hives here on our homestead. We learn something new from the bees each year.
Our bees pollinate our garden, wildflowers, and the surrounding landscape while producing the honey and beeswax we use throughout the year. In addition to caring for our own apiary, we occasionally capture local swarms and offer honey bee splits when available to help other local beekeepers grow their own hives.
Every honey harvest is unique, reflecting the flowers our bees visited throughout the season. We also use beeswax from our hives in several of our handmade products, including our beeswax lip balms.
Honey
